Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actress. Her most well-known character was as Skyler on the AMC drama Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Award to recognize Outstanding supporting Performance on a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She was Jean Ward and Martha Bullock as well in The Practice. Born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with acting during Preparatory School before her family relocated to Ohio at the end of the 1970's. The theatre school she attended was Northwestern University, and spent one term at British American Drama Academy. Anna spent a few seasons working in Chicago theater before transitioning to film and TV roles. In 1992, Anna landed her first big role in the role of Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. As a guest-star, Anna was on Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. Then it was only in the latter part of 1990 when she was cast in the role of The Practice. Martha Bullock, a character that she played for a period of two seasons on Deadwood's season two. In 2008 she was cast in the role of Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully in addition to Deadwood was a different film that she was a part of. Gunn also took to the stage starring in the David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. The year 2022 saw Gunn also participated in an audio-play show called "Numbered Days". Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The strains and eventual demise mirror the last few seasons in the story of Walter White.
